Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Southwest England, are looking for an experienced People and Systems Coordinator to join their team and play a crucial role in their human resources operations. 

Position: People and Systems Coordinator
Rate: £32,000 per annum (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Permanent 

Job Purpose: 

• The People and Systems Coordinator is a pivotal enabler within the People Operations function, delivering a high-impact, professional service that supports Aster’s strategic transformation agenda. Operating at the intersection of operational excellence and digital enablement, this role ensures seamless execution of core HR processes while driving continuous improvement across systems, data integrity, and service delivery.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Steer the delivery of core HR operational processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with service level expectations. 
• Partner with Payroll, IT, and Workforce Management teams to support integrated service delivery and system optimisation. 
• The role delivers a wide range of transactional HR activities including first stage payroll, final stage Recruitment, contractual changes, Right to Work checks, DBS renewals, secondments, fixed term contracts, probation processes, and offboarding administration, ensuring all activity is completed accurately and in line with legislation, and GDPR. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a People and Systems Coordinator role or equivalent.
• A Levels (or equivalent) including English and Maths – essential. CIPD Level 5 – essential. 
• Proven solid experience in HR operations and in a customer-facing role, combined with a strong understanding of GDPR and data governance in an HR data governance. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
