Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Duty Solicitor to join their team in Central or North London. 

Position: Duty Solicitor                   
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience           
Location: Central or North London                        
Work Type: Permanent   

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Represent clients detained at police stations. 
• handle your own case of Criminal Defence cases across a full range of different offences. 
• Conduct advocacy in the Magistrate's Court including summary trials. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• 1+ year PQE. 
• Holds Crime Duty Accreditation (desirable but not essential). 
• Previous experience in Criminal Defence matters and managing a demanding caseload. 
• Excellent communicator, both verbally and non-verbally.
• Attention to detail and able to work at a quick speed.
