Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southeast England, are looking for an experienced Power BI Specialist to join their team and play a crucial role in their data modelling operations.       

Position: Power BI Specialist
Rate: £500 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (6 Months) Possible Extension   

Purpose:

• Deliver operational, customer service and programme‑level dashboards (performance, risks, milestones, contact trends, case management, finance).

Job Responsibilities: 

• Build unified Power BI data models integrating Whitespace, Salesforce, SharePoint and programme data to create a single, trusted source of truth.
• Provide analytical insights to support policy review, service optimisation, risk mitigation and continuous improvement across SIP and wider SRP workstreams.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines to support operational and analytical needs across D&T, PPI, and SRP.
• Integrate Whitespace, Salesforce CRM, GOSS eForms, and SharePoint to enable unified data flows and reporting.
• Support the migration from legacy systems (Ideagen, Arcus) to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimising technical debt.
• Establish baseline KPIs for all core metrics (e.g., missed collections, customer satisfaction, first contact resolution, cost per transaction, accessibility compliance).
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks for operational and strategic monitoring, using Whitespace Analytics and Salesforce data as sources.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Power BI Specialist role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
