Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in York, are looking for a Social Workers to work within Children and Young People Services.

Position: Social Workers - CYPS
Rate: £35 p/h (Umbrella) Role Dependent.
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- Experienced within Children Services 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Social Work Qualification

Purpose:

• Working with Children and young people directly, supporting through safeguarding, assessments, care proceedings, CIN and CP. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Managing high caseloads of complex cases, undertaking needs assessment and risk management
• Record and report writing, maintaining case notes required for providing evidence in court. 
• Development contribution to future services and policies, supporting the service user in a innovative way.
• Supporting Newly Qualified social workers within the team as required.

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience with front line childrens services 
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
• Confident with multi-agency working
