Position: Learning Support Assistant
Rate: £23.97 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 months
Purpose:
Working with staff across the curriculum, supporting adults and young people with SEN.
Job Responsibilities:
�� Development of educational and social needs
�� Promoting independence and self-advocacy
�� Complete assessments for students, with a person centered approach, in line with their EHCP's.
�� Assist with learner progress reviews, in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
�� Previous experience working with SEN, in a Secondary environment.
�� Understanding of Safeguarding, to ensure safe learning.
�� Knowledge of promoting independence and developmental support.
�� Multi-agency working, and maintaining close relationships.
