Position: Court of Protection Paralegal

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Support not only the solicitor but all members in the Court of Protection team. 
• Draft documentation and correspondence, reviewing experts reports and disclosures.
• Instruct counsel/experts and attend client visits.
• Assist with the preparation of case plans. 
• Attend meetings with solicitors, recording orders and dates.  

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• 2+ years previous experience as a Paralegal.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and non-verbally.
• Previous experience of working within MCA/CoP and a solid understanding of working with the Legal Aid Agency. 
• Able to stay organised and motivated as well as wanting to progress into more senior positions.
