Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the West Midlands, are looking for a Team Manager to work within the Children in Care team.

Position: Team Manger - Children in Care
Rate: £41.42 per day  (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- Confident, experienced Team Manager within CIC
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Recognised Social Work Qualification

Purpose:

• Working in the CIC team ensure safe and excellent delivery within the services.
• Supporting with case loads and team structure, in accordance with statutory framework and policy. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Leadership of day to day duties within the CIC Team
• Understanding of of government and council policies, legislation, and procedures. to support with complex cases
• Multi agency working, to ensure service relationships are maintained between Council departments
• Safeguarding children and young people's welfare but allocating cases and reviewing assessment/reports in a timely manner 

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within an English Local Authority (in line with DFE) 
• Previous Team Manager experience, CIC preferred
• Comfortable delivering safe services within a multiagency environment, using people an management skills to ensure excellent outcomes are consistently delivered.
