Role: Senior Associate / Partner (Corporate)
Experience: 6+ PQE (flexible)

Salary: Dependent on Experience



Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Helping to establish and build a corporate practice from the new Bournemouth office.
• A strong focus on transactional work.
• Supporting the existing team with non‑transactional corporate work.
• Handling your own caseload and working with other members of the team depending on matter complexity.
• Carrying out appropriate marketing and business development activity as required by the Head of Department.
• Providing a high‑quality legal service to clients.
• Accepting work from and delegating work to members of the department.
• Offering advice on legal procedures and a wide range of associated corporate issues.
• Working in a professional manner and to the highest standards expected in the profession.
• Complying with the Office Manual, professional standards and SRA requirements.
• Carrying out duties given by partners or senior staff diligently and following reasonable instructions.
• Keeping up to date with changes in the law.
• Recording all chargeable hours.

The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
• Corporate experience
• Strong business development skills
• Excellent organisational abilities
• A collaborative, team‑focused approach
• A flexible and proactive attitude to work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Willingness to take ownership and accountability for their work
