Role: Corporate & Commercial Solicitor
Experience: (2+ PQE)
Location: Devizes, Wiltshire (hybrid working) and regular London presence
Salary: Dependent on Experience


About the Role
The team advises a diverse client base, including SMEs, large regional and international businesses, and high‑net‑worth entrepreneurs. You will support an Associate Solicitor on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters while developing your own expertise in a fast‑growing, intellectually stimulating department.


Job Description
Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• Support the Associate Solicitor with a broad range of corporate and commercial fee‑earning work.
• Draft, review, and contribute to corporate and commercial documentation across varied transactions.
• Work with clients that range from SMEs to large regional and international organisations.
• Engage with matters involving sectors such as technology, media, energy, and landed estates.
• Collaborate with an experienced team consisting of home‑grown talent, ex‑City lawyers, and those with in‑house backgrounds.
• Contribute to the department’s pro‑bono, community, and thought‑leadership initiatives.
• Participate actively in the team’s culture of continuous learning, development, and innovation.

The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years PQE in corporate and commercial matters within a regional or City firm.
• A strong alignment with the values and ethos of the firm and a desire to contribute to the wider community.
• Independence of thought and the confidence to bring new ideas, experience, and insight to the team.
• Demonstrated experience drafting corporate and commercial agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and sound business acumen.
