 Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in London, are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work within Major Adaptations and Manual Handling. 

Position: Occupational Therapist
Rate: £41.58 p/h (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration:  4 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- Experienced undertaking complex and holistic assessments
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with HCPC
- Recognised Occupational Therapy Qualification

Purpose:

• Working within the Multi Disciplinary team to ensure correct recommendations are in place regarding Major Adaptations and complex equipment. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Support service users with a range of health conditions ensure high quality assessments are taking in line with frameworks and legislations.
• Review the need for, and teach the use of, high quality and simple level equipment. 
• Major Adaptations and Manual Handling on complex and standard cases.
• Prioritise and plan own work load, in a top quality, timely manner.
• Multi Agency Working

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience with Major Adaptations and Manual Handling
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
