Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based just outside of West London, are looking for a Children's Social Workers to work within the Duty and Assessment team.

Position: Social Workers - Duty and Assessment 
Rate: £42 p/h (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 6 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- High quality Assessment skills within Children Services 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Social Work Qualification

Purpose:

• Working with Children and young people directly, supporting through initial referrals and conferences to decision bet outcomes in line with Child Protection and Safeguarding 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Managing varied case loads, directly with children and families within CIN and CP 
• Section 17 Assessments and Section 47 enquires
• Court Work, including conferences, Section 37, Public Law Outline procedures.
• Present assessments and reports at a high quality level.
• Contributing towards decision making and strategy discussions in line with Safeguarding Children. 
• Multi Agency Working

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience with court and CP 
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
