Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in North London, are looking for a Social Work Officer to work within the Adult community to promote wellbeing, independence and quality of life.   

Position: Social Work Officer
Rate: £29.25 p/h (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position

Purpose:

• Working with adults to maximise independence and quality of life within the community.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Holding non complex caseloads, and working with strength based model of practice. 
• Maximise independence and quality of life by providing practical support.
• Complete relevant assessments, reports and care packages in a timely accurate manner.
• Work within the Multi Disciplinary Team through meetings and achieve the best outcomes for service users.
• Complete CHC checklists

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Adult social care.
• At least 3 years experience within a Social Work Officer or Social Care Assistant role or equivalent.
• Knowledge of promoting independence and working with vulnerable adults.
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
