Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Northeast England, are looking for an experienced Repairs and Voids Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their maintenance operations.       

Position: Repairs and Voids Manager
Rate: £26.08 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (April 2026) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• You’ll be responsible for the delivery of customer focussed repairs and maintenance services to void properties, ensuring high levels of performance, productivity, quality and cost-effective services aligned to the vision and values.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Delivery and management of voids services that drive performance, continuous improvement and innovation, collaborating openly across the business and sharing knowledge to enhance service delivery and maximise the voids experience.
• You’ll work closely with the Repairs and Maintenance Manager, providing detailed voids plans in order to ensure that resources can be prioritised effectively across the repairs and maintenance function.
• You will champion health and safety management, ensuring compliance with regulatory health, safety and welfare standards and providing ownership and accountability for high-risk activities, by embedding company health and safety policies and procedures within the team and sub-contractor operations.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Repairs and Voids Manager role or equivalent.
• Professional Membership of a chartered association, such as CIOB, RICS etc.
• Level 4 qualification in construction related discipline and/or strong equivalent experience built up through your working profession.
• A relevant Health and Safety qualification with comprehensive experience managing the H&S of direct workforce including CDM regulations.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
