Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Management System Migration operations.        

Position: Project Manager
Rate: £33.56 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary - with Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Mainly Remote

Purpose:

• Embarking on a major transformation of its Housing Management services, replacing a complex mix of ageing systems with a single, modern, cloud hosted Housing Management System (HMS). This high profile project will play a significant role in improving services for more than 15,000 households across the city.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide line management and day to day leadership for project delivery resources, including the Project Coordinator, Data Lead, Business Analyst, Test Lead and any contracted specialists, ensuring clear accountability, prioritisation, and effective collaboration across all workstreams.
• Drive strategic alignment with PCC’s cloud, data protection, information governance, cyber security, and IT architectural standards, ensuring project alignment across all required IT checkpoints such as IT Change Board (CAB) and Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Lead full lifecycle delivery of Housing Management System (HMS) transformation, from mobilisation through implementation, testing, cutover, and post go live stabilisation.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Project Manager role or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end landlord services, including tenancy management, allocations, repairs and maintenance, rents, asset management, and associated compliance workflows.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
