Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Housing Association, who are looking for a Director of Governance, Risk and Regulatory to join their team. 

Position: Director of Governance, Risk and Regulatory                  
Salary: £115,000       
Location: Various locations across the South-West (Hybrid with few office visits)                       
Work Type: Permanent   

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Promote and ensure that Regulatory Standards across all areas of governance, risk and compliance are followed and exceeds expectations set by the RSH. 
• Ensure a smooth and strategic servicing of the Group Board and its Committees. You will provide oversight of agendas, annual cycles and governance planning to improve decision making.
• Ensure Company Secretariat functions administers all regulatory and statutory duties across the association and its entities.
• Provide leadership on regulatory engagement and compliance, acting as a key point of contact. 
• Lead the development and embedding of risk and government frameworks. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Excellent knowledge in governance, risk and compliance with previous experience in leading this. 
• Proven track record with Boards, regulators and complex portfolios.
• Knowledge of UK housing regulations assurance frameworks and company law.
• Chartered Governance Professional (CGIUKI) or equivalent.
