Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Team Manager (Learning Disabilities Team) to join their team based in Oxford 
   
JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £42 per hour  
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Hybrid 2 days in the office 
LOCATION: Oxford 
   
JOB SUMMARY
Assistant Team Manager to join the Family Solutions Plus Team. This is a non–case holding position, offering the opportunity to focus fully on practice oversight, supervision, and quality assurance
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Provide high-quality supervision and professional support to social workers
• Lead and oversee safeguarding practice across the team
• Support complex decision-making in long-term and court work
• Ensure statutory responsibilities and timescales are met
• Contribute to a strong, supportive, and reflective team culture

 
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
• Strong safeguarding experience, with confidence supervising others
• Experience of long-term children’s social work
• Court experience is essential
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management capacity is highly desirable
