Role: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Experience: 5+ years as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
Location: Central London
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

Job Description The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Leading the full commercial function across commercial and residential projects from pre‑construction to final account.
• Preparing, reviewing, and managing cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions.
• Overseeing project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow management.
• Procuring and negotiating subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Completing valuations, assessing variations, and agreeing final accounts.
• Providing commercial, contractual, and strategic advice to project and site teams.
• Managing risk, value engineering processes, and cost control procedures.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator.
• Strong background in delivering both commercial and residential construction projects.
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and financial controls.
• Ability to independently manage projects from pre‑contract through to completion.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High commercial awareness with strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Relevant professional qualification in Quantity Surveying/Estimating (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry‑standard cost management tools.
• A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach to work.
