As a Domestic Abuse Support Practitioner, you will provide direct support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
Key responsibilities include:
• Undertaking screening, risk assessment and safety planning with victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
• Providing emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse to access therapeutic and emotional support services.
• Working alongside social workers, police, MARAC, health services, Cranston and other specialist agencies to coordinate effective support.
• Advocating on behalf of survivors and ensuring safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the continued development of the service.
