Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, at a law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Private client solicitor to join their team based in the Basildon area.

JOB ROLE
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with a high degree of independence, provide clear and commercially aware advice to clients, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the department. 


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Advising clients on Wills, estate, planning, probate, lasting powers of attorney, trust and more private client matters.
• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters independently, with appropriate support available where required.
• Maintaining files and records in line with SRA, Lexcel and internal practice management requirements
• Playing an active role in marketing and business development activity

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Ideally 3+ years PQE
• organised proactive and confident  
• Solid experience in private client work
• Confident managing your own case load
