JOB ROLE

My client is looking for a Director of Tenant Services. This is a pivotal executive leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality landlord services while ensuring tenants and communities remain at the heart of the organisation’s approach.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across Housing, Independent Living, and Rent, Income & Service Charges, alongside wider responsibility for operational performance, regulatory assurance and transformation across Tenant Services.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Lead and deliver the Tenant Services strategy in alignment with organisational priorities and objectives.
• Drive service excellence, performance improvement and consistently strong customer outcomes.
• Provide strategic assurance across regulatory compliance, governance, risk management and consumer standards.
• Lead major organisational improvement and transformation programmes.
• Build, develop and empower high-performing leadership teams, creating a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Significant experience operating at Director or senior leadership level, ideally within the housing sector or a similarly regulated service environment.
• A demonstrable track record of strategic leadership, service transformation and organisational change.
• Strong knowledge of housing regulation, consumer standards, safeguarding and Ombudsman requirements
  A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• CIH Level 5 qualification, or the ability and commitment to achieve this within an agreed timeframe.
