JOB ROLE
A leading global law firm is seeking a talented 2nd–4th year Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Construction practice in California.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to midlevel litigator to join a sophisticated Projects, Energy, Environment & Resources team, working on complex construction matters for major clients across California and the wider Western United States.
The successful candidate will benefit from high-quality work, hands-on mentorship from experienced practitioners, and meaningful responsibility on significant construction and infrastructure projects within a collaborative, internationally connected environment.
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Construction litigation and dispute resolution.
- Construction contract drafting, review and negotiation.
- Strategic legal advice and risk management for project developers.
- Complex construction, energy and infrastructure projects across California and the Western United States.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- 2–4 years of associate-level experience, with at least two years of litigation experience.
- Construction disputes experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong legal research, drafting, written and verbal communication skills.
- An active California Bar licence in good standing.
