Our client, a London Borough, is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new South-East London Fostering Hubs on a temporary basis.

Position: Fostering Hub Programme Manager
Contract Type: 6 months
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Purpose:

• Lead the development and implementation of a South-East London Fostering Hub, bringing local authorities together to improve foster carer recruitment and provide more children with stable, loving homes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of the South-East London Fostering Hub.
• Support the development of a joined-up fostering service across participating local authorities.
• Help establish an effective foster carer recruitment pathway, from initial enquiry through to approval.
• Work collaboratively with local authority partners and key stakeholders to support the delivery of the programme.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable, relationship-driven fostering service that improves outcomes for children and young people.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in programme or project management.
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and partner organisations.
• Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead the development and delivery of a programme within agreed timescales.
• Understanding of children's services, fostering or local authority settings would be beneficial
