JOB ROLE

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Junior Real Estate Associate to join its growing Real Estate practice, with opportunities available in Seattle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious transactional real estate lawyer to join a sophisticated, market-leading practice advising national and global clients on complex, high-value transactions across a broad range of asset classes.

The successful candidate will benefit from exposure to high-profile clients and matters, cross-office collaboration, and the opportunity to develop a long-term practice within a highly integrated global real estate platform.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

You will work on a diverse range of sophisticated real estate transactions, including:

• Acquisitions and dispositions.
• Commercial leasing and portfolio management.
• Real estate development, construction and finance.
• Commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) workouts.
• Mixed-use developments and emerging asset classes.
• Data centre transactions, including colocation agreements, hyperscaler leasing and powered land acquisitions.
• Large-scale, multi-site real estate portfolios for major corporate and technology clients.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• At least two years of transactional real estate experience.
• Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage projects, prioritise competing deadlines and work effectively across multiple transactions.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to identifying issues, structuring solutions and delivering precise, commercially minded work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
