Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South West London, are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their Finance Operations

Role: Financial Reporting Manager
Pay: £60,393 - £69,807 (depending on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Length: Permanent 
Location: South West London

Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct line management of 1-5 staff to deliver financial reporting activities
• Support staff development through coaching and mentoring across the service, helping to fulfil the Shared Finance Service ambition of growing our own talent
• Support the Head of Financial Reporting & Control to provide consistently high quality support, advice and challenge to the Assistant Directors (Finance) and the s151 officers in all aspects of financial reporting
• Complete statutory returns related to the collection fund accounts and ensure year end accounting is completed in line with statutory guidance

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
• Experience working in a Financial Reporting Manager or similar role
• CCAB (or equivalent) qualified
