Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Criminal solicitor to join their team based in the London area.

JOB ROLE
The successful candidate will be expected to attend, advise, and represent clients at police stations and magistrate’s courts


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Dealing with all routine correspondence, negotiations and advocacy, where appropriate.
• Ensuring that time spent on all casework is promptly recorded and on conclusion of cases that they are billed and payment is recorded promptly.
• Analysing legal matters and advising clients of the appropriate course of action.
• Communicating clearly and regularly with clients and complying with ‘client care’ requirements.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• 1-3 years PQE
• Ability to communicate effectively with the firm’s client group.
• Current Practising Certificate.
• Commitment to our client group in connection with maintaining access to justice.
