Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their asset operations.  

Position: Building Surveyor (Asset Appraisal)
Rate: £32.45 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 4 months (Possible Extension)
Work Style: Hybrid Working 

Duties:

• Carry out condition surveys for dwellings, communal areas, garages and other related Housing assets, internally and externally
• Contribute to the development and delivery of service plan objectives in line with the Housing Ambition Plan.
• Develop and carry out feasibility studies/detailed surveys to determine viability, best value for money and establishing good design solutions.
• Arrange access with residents, liaising with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Co-ordinate the work of agency staff undertaking stock condition surveys to inform on the investment programmes on a rolling basis.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Building Surveyor role or equivalent.
• Degree/ HND in building surveying or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the issues involved stock condition surveying and compiling capital programmes.
• Experience of partnership working with contractors and agencies in the public and private sectors.
• Knowledge of Asset management databases.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle with business insurance is essential for this role. Non-negotiable.
