Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in Lancashire, are looking for an experienced Transport Contract Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their transport operations.  

Position: Transport Contract Manager
Rate: £21.49 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)
Work Style: Hybrid Working 
3 Positions Available!

Duties:

• Day to day supervision of senior drivers, driver attendants, drivers and passenger assistants.
• Undertake a range of duties including recruitment, induction, job allocation, absence cover, performance and development appraisals.
• Training, checking time and pay records, absence monitoring and management, allocating passengers to runs.
• Co-ordinate local vehicle deployment and to arrange maintenance and repairs

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a passenger transport service in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Experience of resource scheduling and staff supervision
• Must hold a Institute of Logistics and Transport Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience of disability-related services.
