Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Public Sector client based in Cumbria, are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team and play a crucial role in their complex property matters. 

Position: Commercial Property Solicitor
Rate: £60 per hour (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Temp (Dec 2026) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Fully Remote

Job Responsibilities:

Complex property matters in a local authority setting including:

• Leases
• Wayleaves
• Sales – Private treaty, tender and auctions
• Licences
• Overage
• Trust Property and Charity Law obligations
• Development agreements
• Local Authority governance and transactional requirements
• Acquisitions and Compulsory Purchase Orders

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - preferred but not essential. 
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Fellow with valid practice rights.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
