Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced  Welfare solicitor to join their team based in the London area.
  
JOB DETAILS

• PAY RATE:  Per Annum
• WORK TYPE: Permanent 
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time
• LOCATION: London

JOB ROLE
You will be working with colleagues in the Social Welfare Department who specialise in community care, housing and public law and who are recommended in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Carry out all allotted casework
• Dealing with all routine correspondence, negotiations and advocacy, where appropriate.
• Communicating clearly and regularly with clients and complying with ‘client care’ requirements.
• Analysing legal matters and advising clients of the appropriate course of action.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• 1 PQE 
• Ability to communicate effectively with the firm’s client group.
• Excellent IT Skills.
• Experience of Legal Aid funding and using CCMS
• Experience of privately-funded work.
