Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Local Authority based in Northwest London, are looking for an experienced Relocation Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their corporate relocations operations. 

Position: Relocation Manager
Rate: £32.45 per hour (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Temp (Jan 2027) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Purpose:

• To lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate relocations, office moves, service decants, churn activity, and workplace reconfigurations across the Council’s operational estate.

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide specialist workplace planning expertise, including space utilisation analysis, occupancy planning, and CAD-based layout design, supporting the Council’s Corporate Landlord model and estate rationalisation objectives.
• To ensure accommodation changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operational services, working collaboratively across Directorates and support functions.
• The role combines specialist workplace planning expertise with hands-on move delivery, ensuring services are effectively relocated, operational accommodation is optimised, and estate rationalisation initiatives are successfully implemented.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - preferred but not essential. 
• Significant experience in workplace planning, space utilisation, and accommodation planning within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience delivering office relocations, service moves, decants, and workplace reconfigurations.
• Expert knowledge of space planning principles and the ability to develop floor plans, layouts and move drawings.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
