Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority just outside of London, are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their team and play a crucial role in their Fostering Kinship service area.   

Position: Social Worker (Fostering Kinship/Assessment)
Rate: £42 per hour
Contract Duration: 6 months 

Purpose:

• The Fostering Kinship team consists of a Team Manager, Managing Practitioner, Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, and a Family Support Worker, all working together to provide comprehensive support for children and families.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Undertaking assessment, including viability assessments and special guardianship reports. 
• Engaging with families to understand their strengths and challenges. 
• Presenting assessments to fostering panels. 
• Contributing to the development in kinship care across the service. 

Job Requirements:

• 3 years previous experience working within an English local authority .
• Experience within a Fostering Social Worker role.
• Must have Fostering / Kinship / Supervising experience. 
• Registered with Social Work England and hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
