Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in South London, are looking for an experienced Repairs Operations Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing operations.  

Position: Repairs Operations Manager
Location: South London
Rate: £39 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)

Duties:

• Oversee a large, multi-disciplinary repairs operation, managing a portfolio of circa 25,000 properties. Responsibilities include work allocation and performance management.
• Delivering a high-performing responsive repairs service within target timescales, maintaining service quality, excellent customer care, staff development and financial efficiency.
• Manage people and processes to ensure responsive repairs are efficiently controlled and delivered within the required time frames.
• Ensure the smooth running of the responsive repairs service by collaborating with the leadership team and utilising Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) teams.
• Monitor and control costs across all aspects of the service, ensuring financial viability in line with procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in managing repairs and
  maintenance within the social housing sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of managing
  trade staff within a housing repair setting.
• Significant experience working at a senior level within a
  housing environment or a similar organisation of comparable
  scope.
• Extensive experience in budget planning, control, and
  forecasting for large multi-disciplinary operations.
• Proven experience in enabling local authorities to deliver
  affordable housing services.
