Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South London, are looking for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Team Leader to join their team and play a crucial role within their Homelessness Operations

Position: Temporary Accommodation Team Leader
Rate: £35.48 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 6 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Duties: 

• Confirm that temporary accommodation stock and council-managed hostels remain safe, habitable, and compliant with all statutory fire safety and health and safety requirements.
• Manage the efficient turnaround of empty properties (voids) to minimize vacancies, and oversee allocations, transfers, and property handbacks.
• Act as the escalation point for highly sensitive or difficult cases, including safeguarding concerns, anti-social behavior (ASB), and complex tenancy disputes.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader or similar role
• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
• DBS Required
