Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in London, are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their facilities management operations. 

Position: Contracts Manager
Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (March 2025) with Possible Extension 

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of the FM service including delivery of responsive repairs and proactive maintenance and investment services to maintain a good quality operational estate.
• To carry out trend analysis and understand the long term issues across the estate feeding into the wider Asset Management Strategy including managing the medium and long term maintenance plan and delivery of minor works. 
• To implement, manage and contribute to the strategic development of corporate initiatives on FM with regard to commissioning and delivery.
• To actively performance manage the suppliers of FM contracts by providing strong leadership ensuring value for money, quality of service and efficiency is achieved.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years’ experience within a Procurement Project Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Qualifications in FM Management or equivalent experience. 
• Knowledge and experience of leading contract management
