Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, within London, are looking for an Occupational Therapist to support adults in the reablement team.

Position: Occupational Therapist 
Rate: £34.34 per hour
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant Degree/Diploma
• Registered with HCPC
• Experience working with vulnerable adults
• Enhanced DBS required for this position
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation

Purpose:

• Working with adults with a range of needs, supporting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing through specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
• Manage caseloads and complete complex and functional assessments
• Recommend and arrange specialist equipment and property adaptations
• Review and update care plans with service users and carers
• Support independence through appropriate care packages and referrals
• Follow safeguarding, Health & Safety, and best practice guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvements
