Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South East England, are looking for an experienced MIS, Data & Funding Compliance Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Compliance Operations

Position: MIS, Data & Funding Compliance Officer
Rate: £26.18 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 1 year with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties: 

• Monitors project spending and fund allocations to ensure total alignment with WSCC Financial Procedure Rules.
• Oversees local authority data submissions, tracking actual attendance and claims via the council's Online Provider Portal.
• Validates specialized funding metrics, such as Early Years Funded Entitlements (EYFE), High Needs SEN funding, and local discretionary grants.
• Reviews data profiles to catch overestimates, duplicate claims, or missing documentation before the council triggers funding clawbacks.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a MIS, Data & Funding Compliance Officer or similar role
• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
