Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a FE College who are looking to recruit a Head of Admissions to permanently join their team based in the South East London area.

• PAY RATE: £43,856 - £46,053
• WORK TYPE: Permanent
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time 
• LOCATION: South East London

JOB SUMMARY:

The right candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the application to enrolment processes which provides an excellent student experience and meets recruitment targets alongside managing the Admissions Managers and ensuring excellent customer service across all campus sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Work with the Group Executive Director, Group Director of Marketing, Group Director of MIS and Curriculum Directors to plan and implement application to enrolment processes.
• Identify the need for bespoke and differentiated processes requires for different subjects: for example, ESOL, SEND, Access and HE.
• Develop and monitor data to track against KPIs and identify any areas of concern or potential areas for growth to feed into curriculum planning
• Responsible for Front Desk (reception) ensuring that cover is always in place with excellent customer service (direct line management provided by Admissions Managers and Team Leaders)

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Understand the underpinned principles and requirements of customer service.
• Experience of working in a similar environment in a senior role.
• Experience using an electronic switchboard.
• Experience of line management responsibility and ability to motivate team members
