Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities and generate leads to achieve revenue targets.
Execute sales strategies and manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with clients, including procurement and R&D teams.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, service, and payment collection.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industries. Experience with plastics-related manufacturers or distributors is preferred.
Strong understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English and business-level Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Japanese business culture and etiquette.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Comfortable attending client entertainment activities.
Experience working with Japanese MNCs or suppliers in the plastics industry is an added advantage.
Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
Possession of an international driving license is an added advantage.
