Responsibilities:
Propose and recommend suitable frozen food items to customers based on their needs.
Provide accurate product information and guidance on frozen items.
Procure new clients while building strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
Prepare and execute sales plans to achieve individual and team targets.
Meet sales and performance targets set by management.
Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence on customer needs, market trends, and competitors.
Escalate customer complaints and feedback to management for resolution.
Liaise closely with administration and accounts teams to ensure efficient and timely processes.
Requirements:
Balance of hunting and farming sales activities (approximately 50:50).
No experience is required; candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Flexible to work varied hours as required by business operations.
Strong numerical and basic mathematical skills.
Excellent customer service orientation and ability to work during busy periods.
Prior experience in retail is an added advantage.
Sales experience with Japanese cuisine restaurants is an added advantage.
