Responsibilities:
Monitor project financial performance, including actuals vs. budget/forecast.
Prepare monthly Project Status Reports with variance analysis and insights on risks and opportunities.
Conduct detailed cost structure reviews to ensure accuracy and identify optimisation areas.
Support tender activities by reviewing costings, validating assumptions, and assessing commercial implications.
Oversee daily project controlling processes, including invoice validation, documentation management, and timely billing.
Drive working capital efficiency through proactive debt collection and billing optimisation.
Manage commercial instruments such as insurance policies, performance bonds, and bank guarantees.
Lead month‑end closing for assigned projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost accruals.
Prepare monthly forecasts for revenue, gross margin, and cash flow.
Partner with Project Managers and engineering teams to provide data-driven financial advice and challenge assumptions.
Ensure compliance with internal financial processes and delegation of authority.
Manage commercial logistics documentation, including shipment requirements and Letter of Credit compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in project accounting or commercial finance.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central (Navision) is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of project accounting principles, including revenue recognition and WIP analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, and large dataset management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
Confident communication skills to engage effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
