Oversee daily operations of the Logistics Section to ensure smooth and timely workflows.
Verify operational reports, expense invoices and shipping arrangements.
Conduct random audit checks on daily stock counts to ensure accuracy.
Ensure all external correspondences are promptly followed up.
Support and optimise production planning activities.
Collect, analyse and share sales information internally.
Perform sales and stock variance analysis to support decision-making.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve sales, production and raw material variance issues.
Manage customer relationships and handle all customer inquiries.
Manage and resolve matters related to sales, stock and delivery issues.
Oversee logistics-related expenditures and verify vendor pricing and quotations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the section.
Encourage and monitor staff participation in improvement activities.
Manage employee performance and development.
Provide coaching and guidance to help the team achieve performance targets.
Conduct regular check-ins and deliver performance feedback.
Facilitate employee engagement and developmental discussions.
Requirements:
At least eight years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience, including three years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of international trading and supply chain management.
Proficiency in ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills to support operational and strategic decisions.
