Responsibilities: Credit Risk
Conduct credit risk analysis on customers and counterparties.
Monitor market, regulatory, economic, and political developments affecting credit quality.
Upload financial analyses and statements into internal credit rating systems and provide recommendations to the credit manager.
Propose suitable credit risk mitigation measures, including the use of trade insurance and insurer negotiation.
Review and analyze transactions under approved credit limits.
Prepare daily overdue and violation reports.
Ensure consistent application of credit approvals, methodologies, and risk management policies.
Work closely with commercial teams to identify and mitigate credit risks.
Trade Compliance
Monitor import/export regulations and ensure compliance with customs and trade control requirements.
Support the migration and implementation of the trade compliance platform.
Ensure adherence to relevant trade regulations, export/import controls, and sanctions.
Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess compliance across departments.
Develop strong operational knowledge to identify potential compliance red flags.
Provide compliance guidance and conduct training on risk and trade regulations.
Act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities and external auditors.
Investigate compliance breaches, prepare reports, and ensure timely corrective actions.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise management on compliance best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in risk management, trade compliance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, including US OFAC sanctions.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic IT systems support experience and proficiency with MS Office applications.
