Responsibilities:

• Respond to user queries with a proactive service mindset, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Provide technical and non-technical support for the Singapore branch, ensuring high service standards.
• Communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and senior management.
• Report incidents accurately, including business impact and workaround measures.
• Maintain detailed logs of user requests and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with L3 support teams and vendors, defining SLAs and ensuring adherence.
• Perform basic application health checks and support systems running on Windows Server or Linux Server.
• Support banking or financial applications.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in L2 Application Support, including at least 2 years in a lead role within a financial institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking services, operations, or supporting services for financial institutions.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and application support.
• Familiarity with IT service management principles (ITIL preferred).
• Proficiency with IT service tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
• Strong customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate across internal teams and external providers to resolve complex issues.
• Experience supporting Japanese-speaking users in a Japan-based financial institution is an added advantage.
• Exposure to MAS Technology Risk Management framework, risk awareness, and financial institution IT infrastructure is an added advantage.
