Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily vessel operations, including voyage planning, cargo coordination, and schedule monitoring.
• Coordinate with captains, agents, terminals, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth port calls and cargo handling.
• Assist in charter negotiations, contract management, and identifying chartering opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and freight rates to support revenue optimization.
• Support insurance matters, including negotiation with insurers (Hull & P&I), managing policies, processing claims, and preparing voyage‑related insurance documentation.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Analyze operational data and prepare performance and market reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align operational activities with business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including HQ and brokers, and execute instructions as required.
• Handle operational matters relating to subsidiaries and affiliated companies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–6 years of maritime operations experience.
• Strong understanding of vessel operations, compliance requirements, and maritime regulations.
• Experience with Japanese shipping companies or vessel registration work in Singapore is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage operations in a fast‑paced environment.
