Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Council, who are looking for an Adult Social Worker to join their team based in South West England. 

Position: Adult Social Carer    
Rate: £41,511 - £44,711
Location: South West England              
Work Type: Permanent 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Undertake assessments to enable self-directed support with people and carers, developing and reviewing support plans alongside this. 
• Carry out statutory responsibilities within legislative frameworks. 
• Undertake risk assessments when responsible for actions in a situation where a persons safety is at risk. 
• Ensure any information shared is done so in a protected manner within an appropriate format. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Social work, or relevant approved, qualification (essential). 
• Able to demonstrate significant and in-depth knowledge of statutory guidance and legislation. 
• Completion of Skills for Care ASYE Programme (or equivalent professional capability). 
• Have the ability to assess and analyse a situation. 
• Able to build relationships and communicate in the relevant manner.
