Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Housing Association in Bromley, are looking for an experienced Sheltered Housing Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their sheltered housing operations. 

Position: Sheltered Housing Manager
Salary: £40,000per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Purpose:

• To lead the Sheltered Housing Team to deliver consistently high-quality resident-centered services, ensuring that the residential community is a safe, welcoming, inclusive and positive environment in which older people can live in their homes for as long as they wish and are able to.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage the Warden rota to ensure minimum staffing levels are achieved.
• Coordinate and supervise warden’s workplans to appropriately address all welfare matters. 
• Foster and maintain effective working relationships with external agencies in the provision of care and support for residents. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of leading, motivating and managing a team of staff to deliver high performance including by providing structured monitoring; coaching, support and guidance; and assessing training needs.
• Understanding of health and social issues that may affect our residents and some knowledge of the range of services provided by other agencies.
• Experience working in sheltered/independent living, care or accommodation-based services.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
