Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and generate leads to achieve revenue targets.
• Execute sales strategies and manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with clients, including procurement and R&D teams.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, service, and payment collection.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industries. Experience with plastics-related manufacturers or distributors is preferred.
• Strong understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and business-level Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Japanese business culture and etiquette.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Comfortable attending client entertainment activities.
• Experience working with Japanese MNCs or suppliers in the plastics industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers is an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
• Possession of an international driving license is an added advantage.
