Responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and secure high-value project opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, IDs, M&E consultants, and contractors
Influence lighting specifications during concept and design stages
Lead sales strategies to achieve EBITA growth and improve gross margins
Oversee full project lifecycle, including tendering, costing, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning
Manage project timelines, resources, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, technical support) for smooth execution
Resolve site issues promptly while ensuring safety and compliance standards
Prepare project reports, risk assessments, and progress updates
Deliver impactful presentations, technical discussions, and solution proposals to clients
Represent the company at industry events and networking sessions to enhance visibility
Provide market insights and competitive analysis to senior management
Support annual sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Mentor junior team members and uphold strong commercial and operational standards
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in senior sales roles within the lighting or construction materials industry
Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for liaising with Japanese speaking clients and stakeholders
Strong network with developers, architects, IDs, consultants, and contractors in Singapore
Proven track record in securing and delivering mid- to large-scale projects
Solid understanding of lighting solutions, installation workflows, and project management fundamentals
Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Independent, resourceful, and results-oriented
