Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Kensington. Are looking for a Stable Way Site Manager to join their organisation.

Job Role: Stable Way Site Manager
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: 3-6 months (possible extension)
Location: Kensington
Rate of Pay: £26 p/h umbrella
Office Based/Hybrid: TBC but not likely

Purpose:
To be responsible for the day to day running of temporary accommodation scheme for homeless applicants, working with contractors and liaising with the organisation's services for the benefit of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• To identify and assist residents that are struggling to maintain their dwelling or who are suspected of being subjected to abuse, neglect or other safeguarding matters within their home.
• To attend to emergencies arising either out of hours or during work times, ensuring that all relevant teams are kept updated, coordinate support provisions to residents and prioritise the safety of residents.
• To respond to reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) promptly and effectively, ensuring that the ASB policy is adhered to and that regular communication with the resident reporting the incidents is in place. To action plan ASB cases to ensure that the relevant tools are used to abate the ASB.
• To identify and work with residents who have accumulated items in their homes to a level that is affecting their safety, that of others residing in neighbouring properties and where it is causing disrepair.
• To work closely with Tenancy Sustainment Officers, Social Services and other relevant organisations/teams. To ensure that where other options have failed, to pursue enforcement options as per the resident’s contractual agreement with the organisation

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years experience within a Stable Way Site Manager role or equivalent.
• Understanding of the political, housing, social and welfare issues of the Gypsy and Traveller Community.
• Demonstratable experience of managing ASB matters for residents or addressing ASB on an estate when working in a role that represents a social housing landlord
•  Knowledge of Housing Legislation and other landlord related obligations as set out in relevant legislation and best practice
