Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Fire Safety Manager, are looking for an experienced Southwest England to join their team and play a crucial role in their fire safety operations.    

Position: Fire Safety Manager
Rate: £550 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• Lead on all fire safety matters within our housing stock, responsible for leading on strategic policy and procedures.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To assist in the procurement and management of specialist consultancies for fire safety works as necessary.
• Manage Fire Safety Surveyors to ensure optimum efficiencies and prepare project plans for undertaking FRAs and fire safety inspections.
• To assist in the procurement and management of specialist consultancies for fire safety works as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Fire Safety Manager role or equivalent.
• MUST have at least an L4/L5 qualification within Fire Safety/Risk. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
